While creating music is the main objective for the hip hop collective Grammofonen, they are also passionate about enabling youth in the north-western parts of Stockholm to find ways to express themselves and create their own narrative. Through music production they have set up a platform not just for themselves but for others as well to grow and thrive in a positive way.
When rapper Ali Khamis, leader of the collective, reached out for a copywriting assignment, AYZ was thrilled to contribute. With both the brand identity and target audience differing vastly from those of earlier clients, this particular job demanded a different kind of creativity, one that aspires to match the unique needs of a musical artist.
